Our microlots are sourced in small quantities from independent farms in Colombia, selected for exceptional cup quality, full traceability, and deep-rooted heritage. Each release represents a specific harvest, a specific farm, and a fleeting moment in time.
These are not mass-produced coffees.

What Is a Microlot?
A microlot is a carefully separated, small-scale harvest from a single farm — sometimes even from a specific section of that farm.
These coffees are cultivated, harvested, and processed with meticulous attention to detail. The result is remarkable clarity, balance, and complexity in the cup — flavor profiles that cannot be replicated at scale.
Because of their limited volume, microlots are rare. Once a harvest is gone, it is gone.

My family roots trace back to the coffee-growing hills of Antioquia, Colombia — in the regions of Jericó and Betania — where generations cultivated the land with pride and devotion.
This journey is deeply personal. I return not simply as a buyer, but as a steward of heritage — reconnecting with independent producers, honoring family history, and building direct relationships that preserve tradition while elevating quality.
Each microlot selected for Crema Lux reflects this commitment: to authenticity, excellence, and legacy.
We are not sourcing coffee anonymously.

Our Selection Standards
Every Crema Lux microlot is curated with precision and intention.
We evaluate based on:
• Sensory clarity and balance
• Structure, sweetness, and finish
• Elevation and terroir expression
• Processing precision
• Sustainable and ethical farming practices
• Limited availability and exclusivity
Only coffees that meet our standards for refinement and distinction are released under the Crema Lux name.
